- What a beautiful wedding !! Tiffany looked like a bride out of a fairytale and yes, Ricky cleaned up pretty good too :) Held at Brenaissance Wine Estate in Stellenbosch on a perfect weather day with a very relaxed vibe, this day flowed seamlessly and I got some incredibly beautiful moments throughout. Ricky and Tiff you guys are incredible together. I hope to reconnect if you move back to Cape Town.

- Portuguese weddings. They're always BIG. Lots of guests, a crazy amount of extended family and yes, they also know how to party !! Jacky and Marco got married at the beautiful Ashanti Estate . Everything from the venue to the decor to the dress code, and especially the couple themselves had this classy, elegance reminiscent to the bygone era of 1960's Hollywood. - The first time I met Nick & Tatum in person was the day of their wedding. After being around the 2 of them and their families I immediately picked up this sense of genuine love, excitement and admiration for each other. Tatum looked drop dead gorgeous !! - This was an adventure ! Myself and my trusty 2nd shooter John Henry flew up to the beautiful Cathedral Peak Lodge in the Drakensburg for Berendine & Thiart's intimate wedding. We arrived 2 days before the wedding which was fantastic. I got to know the family, take in the area , plan an amazing couple shoot and even fit in a round of 9 holes on their golf course before the wedding day ! One vivid memory I have is the helicopter ride ! The weather was overcast and a little windy on the wedding day and we had planned a helicopter ride to a beautiful vantage point as part of the couple shoot. The pilot decided it was OK to fly but getting up to the vantage point was not very sketchy ... I know this because he tried to break through the cloud cover and quickly swooped right to abandon the attempt ... without warning us ! A memorable experience to say the least ! - My lasting impressions of Simon & Lize are intelligent, hopelessly in love and down to earth. They had an intimate winter wedding with gorgeous summer weather which made for some beautiful couple shoot images ! Lize has this sense of understated natural beauty that really came through in their photographs. There were so many fantastic moments throughout their day hence the slightly larger than usual blog post. And Lize's mom !! - The wedding of Arie Fabian and Elana Drago. All I can say is wow ! This was a celebration of epic proportions !! Coordinated by the brilliant Anne Mann and held at Rustenberg Wine Estate this day was one to remember. Elana and Arie have a connection that's almost tangible. Its a beautiful thing to see and I really sensed this whilst 'spying' on them throughout their day. Although there were a lot of guests at this wedding , the reception had this incredibly intimate vibe and once the dance floor opened it literary didn't stop ! Arie & Elana , you guys are POWER together and I feel privileged to have been so intimately connected to your beautiful day. - What a crazy , fun crowd this this was ! Ale is Italian ... passionate , loud , a little crazy and a lot of fun . Joel is South African, a little more cool, calm and collected and together they make one epic team. The beautiful Waterkloof Estate in Cape Town was the venue where Megan from Event Affairs coordinated this awesome New Years Eve wedding. Random outbursts of Italian chanting and singing during dinner where consistent throughout the night and I must say, this my kind of wedding to bring in 2015 !! Congrats guys ! [...]

- Dani & Adam decided to have their wedding on arguably the hottest day of the year at Backsberg Wine Estate ! When Dani Originally got in touch with me to shoot her wedding I recognized her name from the TV show 'Charly's Cake Angels' , a series about her amazing family run bakery Charly's Bakery in Cape Town. I immediately knew this was going to be a fun and different wedding. And yes ... I was right. The decor was really unique , the people were there to PARTY and the whole experience was a combination of beautiful intimate moments and a high energy celebration. - The gorgeous celebration of Tamarin Kaplan & Mr. Colin Moss was something straight out of a fairy tale. Held at Rustenberg Wine Estate and coordinated by the wedding magician Anne Mann, everything from the guests dining and dancing under the night's sky , to the amazing, intimate vibe to the PARTY that went on all night long made this a night to remember. I photographed Tamarin's sisters wedding Daniella , a close friend of mine a few years ago [I just so happen to be the proud godfather to their newly born son- had to add that in !!] so this was an extra special day for me. - This was a RAD wedding. Set in the magical forest of Beloftebos just outside Hermanus, Pete and Deb had a super chilled celebration with a bunch of their close friends. Picture Gary Thomas strumming his guitar in the middle of a breathless forest surrounded by people drinking craft beer,eating and chatting away. Cut to 5 hours later where Pete, in the middle of a circle on the dance floor, is busting out a hip hop routine - executing a fairly flawless/drunk version of the worm whilst people are hooting sounds that resemble a forest monkey .... this is what I remember from Pete & Deb's wedding :) Yes ... it was fun [...]

- Jazmine ... without a doubt one of the most emotional, ecstatic, genuine brides I have ever photographed . Her Paraguayan roots brought all her family and friends down to Cape Town for the first time and joined Mike and his South African guests which created this amazing, eclectic mix of people and cultures.
